Global Road safety Week 2019. The UN Road Safety Collaboration is pleased to announce the theme of the 5th UN Global Road Safety Week: “leadership for road safety. The goal of the Week, which will be held from 6-12 May 2019 , is to generate a demand from the public for stronger leadership for road safety worldwide...but due to the situation with COVID-19 this year's Road Safety Week has been postponed in NZ and will now take place 9 - 15 November, and the theme will be 'Step Up for Safe Streets'. Road Safety Week is a community event held annually, promoted by Brake but run by you.
Every year we learn about road safety and this is important as the traffic is becoming busier. We are going to need to be extra careful since we have been in our bubbles. It will even be strange for me being allowed to drive.Keep up the great learning.
